Here's another member of the shadow commandos : Sergeï Akimov, a soviet snipper sent by Stalin to the shadow commandos. Actually, he refused in a first time the proposal of Churchill, Roosevelt and de Gaulle, because he thought that it was a ruse to betray him (he has already been betrayed by Hitler, it's understandable), but after some reflexions, he said to himself "the enemy of my enemy is my friend"... As a result, he sent one of his best snipper on the western front : Sergeï

Sergeï was born in Moscow in december the 30th 1896 in a poor family, that's why he decided to fight during the boghevic revolution of october 1917 as a communist because the gap between the rich and the poor disgusted him too much. Then when Stalin took the power after Lenin's death he became a real communist devoted, he knew the Marxist's philosophy by heart, and he became a work hero such as Stakanov.
But when the Barbarossa operation begun, he fought with bravery in the Stalingrad battle as a snipper next to the famous Vassili Zaitsev.
That's why Stalin choosed him for the shadow commandos, because he apreciated his sense of patriotism and his zeal to the communist party. Sergeï's faith for communism is as strong as sometimes he have difficulties to get on with the others commandos, especialy Louis and Stanley who are anti-commies until the end of the nails.
At the end of the war, Stalin ordered his repatriation to award him with a medal himself, in his homeland... And because of the Iron Curtain during cold war until 1989, the other shadow commandos didn't have any news about what he became in Soviet union...
