Axis conspiracy : Siegfried von Witzland by RaynalJacquemin Axis conspiracy : Siegfried von Witzland by RaynalJacquemin
Here's Siegfried von Witzland, the leader of the axis conspiracy, a special section of the axis countries created by Hitler to face the shadow commandos who were putting the mess in their plans at the west.

On the right in colour : Siegfried in his SS uniform

Sketches on the left : Up : Getting ready to shoot
Down : Him on his way to "play" with one of his prisoners

Siegfried was born in october the 7th 1905 in the Witzland estate in Germany, his family was noble, but poor by world war one effort and the 30's crisis.
Siegfried was a quite talented writer, but never manage to get sucess with it, that situation was quite frustrating for a young man who was dreaming about a wealth and fame. But in 1933 when Adolf Hitler took the power, he knew that the new chacellor's promises of a rich and powerful Germany was a piece of good fortune for him to reach that ideal.
Then he tried to meet the Führer during a concert at the Reichstag to work for him, but an SA nammed Stamerstein did not allowed him that privilege because he reproached him to be too much greedy (Siegfried was not anti-Semitic at all but really power-thirsty), then Stamerstein thrown him out... The first attempt was not really sucessful... But luckily, just at the exit of the building, Siegfried met Heinrich Himmler who was the only one who trust his determination and his willpower. As a result, this last one engaged the young eagle as a SS officer, Siegfried reached his goal...
One year later in june the 29th 1934, Siegfried was benefiting from the night of the long knives to get his revenge on Stamerstein for his humiliation. Then he became the monster he is today, this night made of him the powerful SS he's always dreamed to be.
After the fall of France in 1940, he was transfered in Paris as a chief of the french gestapo thanks to his nearly bilingual level of French, there his role was to track the jews, to break up resistance organisations, and to lay down the law.
In 1944, Hitler requested Siegfried as the leader of the Axis conspiracy to face the shadow commandos who were a real threat for his plans...
This section was made of three German Nazis : Fritz Reiser, Hanz Rölleder, and Traudl Liebber, one Italian Fascist : Donatello Capelli, and one French Vichyist : René de Rastignac...

just letting you know, i've been lurking around this image pretty much since it was first uploaded, haha.
it has kept showing up in the "more from devart" section, and i've kept clicking on it.
jfc, i have no idea why i haven't added it to my favourites sooner
he's just so fucking vicious, and i love that you drew him so formal and tidy-looking, without being a least bit of boring at all.

I gotta admit, the Nazi Germans had good uniform. It inspired my favourite Warner Bros. artist DJ. Wyatt (mostly the Stahlhelm). I find the helmet pretty cool myself.

As a French I actually prefer the adrian or the American marines' helmets : less serious and "squared"

I still have three German nazis for the Axis conspiracy : A mad scientist, an Hitlerjüggen, and a snazzy Third Reich mandarin (coming soon)
Maybe I shall make a comic of these characters's stories...

AHAHAHA, well China is like a capitalistic socialistic land, so paradox XD
But they have too nice people, they will not riot against the state,
it´s all normal for them.

As I live in China for now four years, I can tell you that things are changing, they do not look at the government in the same way, I'm just looking foreward to see what China's situation will be in 10 years.
Their government say them that they don't provide their freedom, but at least they provide their security, which is wrong these last times as Oüigours attacks and demonstrations are always more numerous this year.
Tiananmen square June the 4th 1989 was only a warning, this is only the beggining, I think that I'm lucky to come back for good to my motherland in July. I think that the poeple's republic of China's years are counted...

Nice that you explain what a nobleman is doing in the SS, which was typically almost exclusively working class (it's a pet peeve of mine in WWII fiction that people have SS members with "von" in their names, apparently not knowing what this signifies). Need to swap his lapel insignia, though. The rank goes on the left and the SS lightning bolts on the right. And if he's Gestapo he shouldn't have any SS lightning bolts at all and the right collar ought to be blank.

Still a supremely awesome and detailed pic and one I'll fave. :)

Yes I know about the SS lightening bolts place on the collar, I just put it on the right to make it more visible to everyone to highlight his membership and I hoped that it will past unnoticed, but apparently not! =D
And yes he was a Gestapo's in Paris, but now that he's the leader of the Axis conspiracy, the Blank part was replaced by the lightening bolts once again.
About the "von" particle in German names, I can imagine that if this guy don't know what it signifies, that's because I think that in English (and I'm not sure then tell me if I'm wrong) there's no distinctive particles (exepted "sir") for noble names, unlike the "von" in German, the "van" in Dutch, or the "de" in French... Then the ones who don't know it could use it to make the name sound more like German, but once again, that's just an hypothesis.

Ah oui !

Yes nearly, Hitler was the Nazis's big chief, but him is not anti-Semitic, he's just power-thirsty, but because he's a SS, his role was in an occupied country (France for him : one of the most beloved destination for transfer because of it's gastronomy, the beauty of Paris, and most of all, for it's women) to arrest and to send that country's jews to concentration camps, and to eliminate the ones who resist or show hostility to the Third Reich.
