Hello to you. My friend :iconkatanarkao: formerly :icongeneral-palladium: sent me here after referring to him as a fellow Frenchman with good fashion sense in anthro artwork. Your Shadow Commandos, their Axis Conspiracy antagonists, and the romance between Raphael Van Helsing and Harry Belmont are all beautiful and magnificently illustrated. This one is especially pleased with how you give each character a through background story, which adds depth to them in personality and traits. And they all have wonderful fashion with those dignified upper-class suits and tuxedos. As one living in America, it feels as though this country has lost such good taste in fine apparel, and that only Europe has that rich history of high society image in attire. Your art reflects well on those times, and how they still continue today. Your own portrait photo is equally fantastic. Small wonder that Katanarkao admires you, being a Frenchman who enjoys such fashion on a regular basis and in his artwork. May you continue to have success in your skills, to entertain your friends, fans and viewers with your talents, and that you may enjoy life to the fullest, onwards and upwards. :)

Thank you!
According to me, being a Gentilhomme (French Gentleman) is not a choice or an option, but a duty. The fact is that I myself wear suits and ties/bow ties everyday, granted I often blame summer to be too hot to allow me to wear a complete suit, then I just have to get contented to wear a vest or a simple shirt and tie.
Many of my friends ask me why am I force myself wearing such attires when I am not obliged to, but they don't often understand me when I say that I like it.
But being a Gentilhomme is not only being properly dressed, this is also an art of living, then I am doing my best to be as polite, civilised, respectfull as I can. But without making too much to not be pompous or snobish.
This is quite difficult to control yourself constantly everyday, but it helps you to get a good self-esteem and pride.
Wish the best of life to you!
Love and regards from France

No wonder our mutual friend :iconkatanarkao: appreciates you. He's got excellent standards for fashion and manners. While we all have our weaknesses, snobbery being an easy vice for the upper-class; and for the beaus and debutantes, they fall into that trap of becoming arrogant and condescending towards the lower classes. You do not seem like such a person, and that is very praiseworthy of you to maintain. Thank you for your response and sharing your personal insight into being a French gentleman. It's a joy to become acquainted with such individuals worldwide. :)

Thanks for this compliment, actually I think that my weaknesses would rather be to lose control and then burst in anger when someone made me upset (which shows that I can have some bad pride, which is something to not have if you ever want to become a gentilhomme someday), or also to not be as polite as I would must by moments. But I try to correct it everyday and then become a better person.
Actually I think I wouldn't become snobbish, since I am not an Aristocrat myself and will never be since I am not a noble born and that I do Art studdies. Actually my family belongs to the working class and my father revealed himself as really courageous by working hard to become a technical dirrector, that is why I shall never misrespect lower class since I am coming from it. And actually being a Gentleman is not about class, but about attitude.
Anyone can become a Gentleman, Gentilhomme, Gentiluomo, Hidalgo, Erhenmann, ect... (it dépends of which country you live in) if he really wants it, but then stop wanting it and become it!
A famous gentleman saying tells us : Being a boy depend on birth, being a man depend on age, but being a Gentleman only depend on you.
